Heya all, Deana and I got a rare night out to go to a concert in Salt Lake City yesterday, July 30, 2008. The Rice’s had given me tickets to see a Joe Cocker/Steve Miller Band concert for my birthday. It was an outdoor venue, Usana Amphitheater if you are from this area, and the weather was absolutely beautiful. Both bands were excellent. I had to remind people who Joe Cocker was, that he opened the weekend in WOODSTOCK in 1969, tsk, tsk. It was great, we had a good time and here are the photos, hope everyone is well. Love, Mike

Here is a flash back on a trip Morgan and I made to California with Brandon and the girls (they look so cute!). I have not had my computer in a while, and I was going through my 261 emails and found my last few emails from Brandon. One of those emails said he hopes that Morgan and his girls will grow up together and be close. Well now that we are in Utah, and thanks to Grandma Pitts, his wish is coming true!

Hiya all, We are truckin’ right through summer. We did some fireworks (puny) and ate a bunch. The summer here is hot, in the 90′s everyday. The humidity is less, only in the 20′s or less. Morgan starts school in about 5 weeks and is really excited, and Mickayla is growing by leaps and bounds. I am starting to get my resume out there, hoping to find as fun a job as I had in Roanoke. Not much more to say, it’s Saturday and the kids are restless and Deana is working. I will post again real soon, here are some photos of the summer so far. Love, Mike

Heya All, It’s the Fourth of July already. Ours is kinda different this year, Deana has to work (retail sucks, quit shopping on Sundays and holidays) and Morgan is with Grandmother Pitts and her cousins, going to parades and activities. She loves to spend time with her cousins, it’s the only sleepover she gets. We are going over to Deana’s grandparents for a cookout later, but no fireworks or anything, Deana has work at 7 A.M. on Saturday (the retail thing again). Be safe and don’t catch anything on fire.
