Mike and Deana

As I celebrate my 38th birthday I can not celebrate without thinking of my twin brother ( 3 years younger)! This is a tribute to my Brother on his 35th birthday, his 3rd birthday celebrated in Heaven. I know that Shannon is giving you the time of your life Brother, I miss sharing this time with you. I know as kids we hated having the same birthday, however now I realize it is what makes us close! I do not remember when you were born, just the story mom tells that as she was getting up to make my birthday cake for my 3rd birthday her water broke and she went to the hospital to have you. Although I did not get a cake that year, I’m sure that I was excited to have a baby brother! As I look back there could not be a greater gift! You would be proud of your girls they are growing so big, and look just like you! Life was hard for you here, I know that you are happy and watching down on us with our sister Shannon looking over your shoulder.

Hey all, there was a carnival in the mall parking lot in Provo this week. This is the mall that Kiddie Kandids is located in. I drove the kids down yesterday and met Deana, we had dinner at Red Robin and took the kids to the carnival to ride some rides. You can see by the photos who got the best deal here, Morgan had a blast. I hope you are all well, and we miss you somethin’ bad, Love, Mike.

Hi all, Mickayla had her birthday party on Saturday. It went well under the circumstances. Grandmother Pitts got ill and was rushed to the emergency room thinking she had a heart attack, scary. It turned out she was passing a kidney stone (ouch!) and it totally debilitated her. Mickayla had her great-grandparents there, as well as some of her cousins over for cake and pizza and present opening. We tried the hands-in-the-cake thingy, but she didn’t want much to do with that, she hates to have her fingers messy. She got a little Dora (looks like Morgan) car she can walk behind, and has been having a blast doing just that. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already, and I am sure I will be saying this next year too. I hope you are all well, we miss you a lot and wish you were here or we were there. Love, Mike

Happy 1st Birthday

Can you believe it!? Mickayla turns 1 yr. old today. We are having a party tomorrow night (everyone is out of town today). She did get to open her present from Grandmother Phlegar this morning at 6:30 a.m. She is still a bit under the weather, fighting another ear infection, but she is on the mend. Everything is well here, just the same-old-same-old. Hope all of you are well, Love, Mike

Munk’d

We went to the Provo mall yesterday. Morgan was able to see the 3 Chipmunks. She had a blast dancing with them. We have recently seen the movie (9 times), so she was really psyched! Hope all is well, love. Mike.

Easter was a big blur to me this year. I had the flu and didn’t get to participate in any of the activities. Deana did, however, and made these photos for all to see. I hope your Easter was better than mine, and stay healthy. Love, Mike.
