My Munchkins

Hi All!

We are getting close to the end. It seems in just a short time I will be joining my girls and we can start being a family again! Hallelujah!

Things are very stressful towards the end of this journey. We are hoping and praying for it to resolve and are eager to resume our NORMAL everyday lives (funny how that, that seemed so boring, one looks to with longing later).

Now the hard work begins. We have to empty 4 storage spaces and pile them into a large Penske truck, then drive the stuff 2,000 miles across the country. Whew! Well, my brother has volunteered to help with the trip (volunteered may be a mis-nomer). My brother and his wife and Deana’s brother and his wife have been “over-the-top” kind to us during this transition. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate all of their help.

Time is close at hand now. We only need to find a home, move the stuff, see Deana off for training, get my brother back to Virginia, get moved in, turn on all the utilities, get the house set up, make a comfortable environment for the kids, get free-lance work, set up equipment, and…..Whew! don’t want to think anymore.

Will see you soon on the web.
Love, Mike

Here the girls are worn out from being sick. Morgan, we found out, has been drinking from the sprinklers in the yard which is irrigated water so it was bad!!!! She is still sick today, although a little better. Mickayla has a cold and stuffy nose; its just pitiful!! And Just so you know, Mommy is feeling poorly also! We are still waiting for Daddy, Morgan is going crazy without him! I start my new job as Manager at Kiddie Kandids in the Provo mall Sunday. I am excited to get back into what I do best! Wish me luck. I feel like a fish out of water. Its just like riding a bike right? I will post more pictures this weekend. We love and miss you all, especially Daddy!!

Morgan and Sue

So Happy Birthday Aunt Sue on August 8!!!.
Morgan is on her way to Utah and stopped in DC to visit Aunt Sue and Uncle Pops. Morgan was excited to get on the plane (The first plane!). It was not hard for her to say goodbye to Aunt Sue, because she was flying on a plane! Once we landed in Las Vegas it was another story. Morgan was over it! She fell apart and wanted her Aunt Sue, and wanted to go back to Daddy and Virginia! We had not even left Las Vegas and she was CRYING, so what did Mommy do? Started CRYING too! The lady next to me felt awful, we just had a melt down. Once we started off we were fine until we started descending. SLC airport was having monsoon weather and we could not land and had to be diverted to BOISE, IDAHO!!! So here I am, a crying 4 year old and a 3 month old, that at that time had enough! We went to Idaho, refueled and took off and landed in Utah 4 hours later! We are here now and trying to be “TUFF”.  We could use all the prayers we can muster up!!! It will be great once Daddy is here with us and we can actually be a family, a normal family!

Morgy and Micky in Utah

Well, my family is now in Utah :-( Deana is looking for a place and it must be hard because she hasn’t found one yet. (This is a hard job, I have done it 3 times before.) I miss the guys very much, it’s really hard to be separated, especially for the 3rd time in less than 6 months or so.

All is well here, I am waiting for my job to basically end here with a new installation of people-replacing software. But the time for moving is at hand, and I expect to be making the arrangements for an early September move. I hope everyone is well, the updates should come a little more frequently now (although not quite like before, at least until I get there). I miss you and think of you all often, Peace…Mike
