Its hard to believe that they are this big! Now Morgan will always be a little tanner then her sister, just like Shannon and I were! We are planning on having a family get together Saturday and can’t wait to see Cousin David and Vanessa! We will show pictures taken over the weekend!
Here are ” Our Girls”. What a great sound that is! At this time in our lives who would have guessed that we would be a family of four! No matter how hard things have been or are going to be, one thing that we know for sure is that we are blessed and continue to receive great blessings. I have realized that things happen in the Lord’s time not ours! The road ahead is uncertain, however one thing that will stay the same is our family. I am so excited for the road ahead, even if it is a little rocky!
Here is Mickayla learning early how to take control! I have a picture of Morgan doing the same pose on the same couch and will try and find it and post them together to compare. We are starting the packing stuff and made a dent in the basement where we had boxes from 13 years ago that we culled through. We found old 45′s, and Mikes old 8-track player and cassettes. There were many antiques that Mike could not part with, especially his vintage Harley T-shirts. Thats ok, I could not part with all the photographic props I have, because I hope someday I can have a little studio in my home. So we are taking baby steps and hope that things will happen soon! It is hot and humid today. Morgan and I are taking it easy. This weekend we are having cousins David and Vanessa visit from DC, and Aunt Sue and Uncle Pops also from DC are coming. We will have a get together here at our home and will post some pics later!
Mike wanted to take a picture of Morgan’s hair in her eyes. He does not like her new short hair so he wants to prove a point that it looks bad! Well it does not look like this; she always has her hair back and decided for daddy to take it out! She is our little DORA I think. Morgan went with her best friend to Summer Bible Camp at their church, she was so excited to go. When Morgan came home she looked so happy and had a lot to say about what fun she had. She will go all this week from 6pm.- 9pm. It gives Daddy and Mommy a break! I wish the LDS church had a program like this, being in the bible belt you see them everywhere. Im sure that in Utah we will find fun programs for the girls, and I can’t wait. We are getting a little stressed out about it all, so keep us in your prayers!
Our girls are growing up fast! Mickayla just went to the doctor for her 2 month visit and had her shots! Just like her sister, Mickayla is in the 98% range for her age in height and weight, weighing in at 14 lbs.! We have a friend with a 6 month old that is smaller than Mickayla! Morgan is a healthy 4 year old in the 98% range also. These southern girls love their food; I guess as long as they stay below 100% they are fine, right? Our cousins in Colorado shared their experience with their girls’ doctor visit on their blog so we thought we would do the same. If you have not, you should check out their blog and their story of the miracle happening in their lives. We are glad to have this venue to share our comings and goings and to keep in touch with our family all around the US. We will try this week and add a picture a day!
Morgan and Emilita spending time in our little pool today. Morgan gets so excited when she has friends around and just as mad when they have to go home! Morgan will miss her friend although we know they will be friends forever and will make new friends in the future. Mommy is making Daddy a chocolate meringue pie!!! ( lets see how that goes) he usually does not like my cooking so I’m sure it will be a bust!! We love and miss you all and cant wait to see ya’all! ( LOL )
It has been a while so we thought we would show more of the newest Phlegar and how she has changed and continues to change. We have been enjoying family time the past few weekends especially Mikes birthday and Fathers day. Morgan sang in church

and Mommy made fried chicken and cabbage! A southern treat I will introduce to ya’all in Utah! Morgan made Daddy a frame for a picture and said Happy Fathers Day all day! We love our little family and cant wait for what is in store for us in the future!

Morgan is a great little helper, always wanting to hold Mickayla.
I know she looks like she is BIG, however she looks bigger in the photographs.
Call me crazy!! Along with Morgan and Mickayla there are 3 other children I watch during the week. So get this, 5 kids in the house, no car, and I have to keep the house clean ALL day for people interested in viewing our home to see it looking decent! How do I do it you say? I’m going CRAZY!!! (Just kidding I’m actually loving this stay at home thing! Mike looks forward to it when we move to Utah!)
